Reactive Oxygen Species‐Mediated Pyroptosis with the Help of Nanotechnology: Prospects for Cancer Therapy

Tumor resistance to apoptosis and the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment are two main reasons for poor outcomes of treatment. Pyroptosis is a newly discovered form programmed cell death, featuring surprising proinflammatory activity. Recent evidence shows that pyroptosis leads strong inflammatory responses significant regression, which different from apoptotic death. Strategies based on types nanoparticles induction have become useful tool Reactive oxygen species (ROS) considered an efficient way cause pyroptosis, ROS‐based nanotechnologies been powerful strategy cancer treatments. This review covers recent progress in ROS‐induced nanotherapy trigger ROS‐mediated cancer.
